1. What does Kanan Hotel offer?

Lush Tropical Adults-Only Playground Kanan Tulum is a unique eco-friendly spa hotel in Mexico’s Caribbean coast. Located on the beach amid the Mayan jungle, it is placed in the middle of the bustling music and art scene, offering a wide range of events in and around the hotel. This adults-only hotel is an experience in its own right, marrying rustic elements with the finest woods and rich textiles. The labyrinth of treetop corridors, wooden staircases, nature portals, and branch-woven walkways and nests, all create a sensation of a hidden jungle temple.

2. At what time can we check into our room?

Room check-in time is at 3:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, do not hesitate to drop off your luggage at the hotel; it will be our pleasure to keep it if you wish to begin your vacation, while the room is ready you can enjoy our beach club.

3. What is the checkout time?

Customers must check out at 12:00 PM. However, we can keep your luggage for free at the reception if necessary.

4. Can I keep my room after the standard check-out time?

On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 12:00 PM. Upon request, and subject to availability, it could be possible to use the room for an extended period. This option must be expressly agreed upon with the reception and may involve an extra cost.

5. Does the hotel have a Wi-Fi network?

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms, as well as in the common areas. You will receive the access code upon your arrival.

6. Is there an elevator in the hotel?

No, our establishment does not have an elevator.

7. What is included in our rooms?

8. Can we bring our pets?

Pets are allowed with an extra service fee except for service animals. You must previously send an image of your vaccination card or show it upon arrival.

9. Can I request an additional bed for a third person in a double occupancy room? How much will it cost?

You can request an additional bed for your room when making the reservation to ensure its availability. The extra person costs $50 USD a night with or without an extra bed.

10. Can you recommend nearby restaurants?

There is a handful of restaurants offering a variety of meals near the hotel. Our staff will gladly recommend something based on your taste, but you definitely must go first to our Roof Top Restaurant, the only Rooftop with 360° in Tulum and exceptional service where you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in Tulum.

11. Are there rooms with wheelchair access?

No, our hotel construction does not allow wheelchairs.

12. Can I smoke in the establishment?

As per the latest anti-smoking law, our hotel is a non-smoking establishment, however, we offer a private smoking section at our beach club, but on the rest of the facilities we offer our customers a healthy environment.
