Cancelation Policies

Securing your reservation with a credit card means that you accept the terms of our Payment and Cancellation policy, In case the guest need to modify or cancel their booking, Kanan Tulum (Ahau Collection Hotels) have their consent to proceed according to the following:

FLEXIBLE RATE:

PAYMENT POLICY

The payment of the reservation will be as follow:

• 50% when booking and the remaining amount will be settled when check-in.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The cancellation policy of the hotel indicates that the cancellation penalti is as follows:

• For cancellations between 0 and 14 days before arrival the penalty of 50 % of the total reservation
• For cancellations between 15 and 365 days before arrival the penalty of 100USD

NON-REFUNDABLE RATE:

PAYMENT POLICY

The payment of the reservation will be made as follows:

• Full Payment (100%) is required at the time of booking. No cancellations allowed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• In case of cancellation, the 100% deposit will be taken as a penalti.

MODIFICATIONS AND/OR CHANGES: Any modification and/or change on the original reservation dates is subject to a penalty of 1 night, which will be discounted from the initial deposit. The new booking will be subject to availability, in case there is a difference in the rate, it must be covered by the client. Under no circumstance should a new rate be lower, the hotel will reimburse nor issue credits. The new booking will be confirmed with the corresponding cancellation policy according to the new date of purchase.

NO SHOWS: In case of no show the full deposit will be charged as a penalti, without the option of a refund for the period covered and the room will be released at the corresponding check out time.

EARLY CHECK OUT: Early departure does not generate any refund, credits or liability for the hotel.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR EVE PERIOD: From December 21st to January 10th. We require a prepayment of the 100% of the total booking. Minimum stay of 7 nights required. Reservations for this period are NON-REFUNDABLE.

PETS: Pets of 25kg/53pounds max are allowed with an extra fee of $50.00 USD per stay. Likewise in case of any damage caused by the pet, the owner will have to cover it.
